Dr. Mehraneh Dorna Jafari, MD, is a board-certified general and colorectal surgeon and Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of California, Irvine (UCI Health). Located in Orange, California, Dr. Jafari specializes in minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgical management of colorectal diseases, surgical oncology, and complex gastrointestinal conditions.
Dr. Jafari earned her medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine and completed specialized residency and fellowship training in colorectal surgery. Her clinical practice and research focus on colorectal cancer outcomes, advanced laparoscopic and robotic colectomies, inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis), and innovative surgical techniques. Dr. Mehraneh Dorna Jafari is proud to serve fellow countrymen and the Iranian-American community across California and the United States.
